Your vehicles Exhaust System does more than muffle the noise from your vehicles engine. It also treats the exhaust to remove harmful pollutants, and allows the exhaust to exit the engine safely through the tailpipe. The catalytic converter, a main component in the exhaust system, will eventually wear out and need to be replaced.
